The infrastructure
behind your evaluation

Ever wondered where the pricing behind your FundedFast challenge actually comes from? Here is how it is built, and exactly what that does and does not mean.

Where your prices come from

Your trading environment is priced from aggregated institutional liquidity: several sources blended into one feed, rather than a single provider or an in-house synthetic price.

MatchTrader and Spec Markets both feed that pool. Because the pricing is aggregated, no single provider sets the conditions your evaluation is measured against.

It also means the prices you trade against are not numbers we invent. Spreads widen when the real market widens, and news events move your charts the way they move everyone else's.

That matters for an evaluation. A trader who passes against real conditions has demonstrated something a trader who passed against a friendly synthetic feed has not. It is also what lets the risk model we run behind the scenes measure genuine market behaviour.

The aggregation happens upstream, at the providers. FundedFast consumes the resulting feed: it does not operate a liquidity pool of its own and does not take the other side of your trades.

Where your account lives

Every FundedFast challenge and funded account runs on MatchTrader.

Your charts, your order tickets, your account metrics and your rule tracking all come from that platform. It is also the route through which the aggregated pricing reaches you.

MatchTrader processes challenge payments too. When you buy a challenge you are redirected to its checkout, which is why your card details never reach FundedFast's own systems.

Our partners

The companies behind the pricing and the platform, and what each one is responsible for.

We are continuing to expand the infrastructure partnerships behind FundedFast. New partners are disclosed on this page as they go live.

What this does and does not mean

A partner's regulated status is easy to mis-read as ours. It is not, so here is the plain version.

  • FundedFast is not a broker and is not authorised or regulated by any financial authority.

  • We do not accept deposits and we never hold client funds.

  • All FundedFast challenge and funded accounts operate in a simulated trading environment.

  • Our partners supply pricing, execution and platform infrastructure. They do not hold your FundedFast account, and their licences do not cover FundedFast.

Risk warning

Trading CFDs carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. If you open an account with any broker, including Spec Markets, make sure you understand the risks involved and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

Partnership questions, answered

Where does the pricing on my FundedFast challenge come from?

Not from one place. Your challenge and funded accounts are priced from aggregated institutional liquidity. MatchTrader and Spec Markets both feed that pool, and the pricing reaches your charts through the MatchTrader platform. Spreads and price movement reflect real market conditions rather than a synthetic in-house feed.

Does this mean FundedFast is regulated?

No. Spec Markets holds its own authorisations for its own brokerage business. FundedFast is a prop firm, not a broker: it does not hold client funds, does not accept deposits, and is not authorised or regulated by any financial authority.

Am I trading real money on a FundedFast challenge?

No. Every FundedFast challenge and funded account operates in a simulated trading environment. The pricing you trade against is live, but the capital is simulated. Payouts are based on simulated performance under the rules of your programme.

Do I need a Spec Markets account to take a FundedFast challenge?

No. You do not need an account with Spec Markets or any other broker to buy or trade a FundedFast challenge. Opening a brokerage account to trade your own capital is entirely optional and separate.

Is FundedFast pricing from a single broker?

No. Pricing is aggregated from more than one institutional source, so no single provider determines the conditions your evaluation is measured against. FundedFast does not operate a liquidity pool and does not take the other side of your trades: challenge and funded accounts run in a simulated environment.

Will FundedFast add more partners?

Yes. Spec Markets is the first of a planned series of integrations. Each partnership is disclosed on this page, including what the partner supplies and what it does not cover.
